For this event we welcome Danny Saltman, the co-founder of award-winning independent whisky bottlers DS Tayman. They are based in north London (Edgware to be exact) and select casks of Scotch single malt from different distilleries in Scotland for release in small batches. All are nurtured for over a decade before being transferred to ex-red wine casks for a finishing period. Danny will be showcasing some of the current DS Tayman whiskies during the evening and explaining about the company and the role of indie bottlers.

The tasting will take place in the new upstairs room at The Old White Bear, a fabulous pub in Hampstead village, NW3. This is just five minutes walk from Hampstead underground station (Northern Line / Edgware branch). Several local bus routes also stop nearby.
The tasting will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Please feel free to arrive early for a pre-tasting drink or bite to eat. They have a great selection of craft beers and good wine list.
No previous whisky knowledge needed, just enthusiasm and interest.
All guests are asked to Drink Responsibly.
Strictly over 18s only. Please bring ID if you are lucky enough to look close to that age.
