Join us as we hear from music supervisors representing a broad range of the industry. We will discuss the relationship of the composer to the supervisor and the role the supervisor plays in a variety of genres, from advertising to TV and film. We'll also explore the path a composer might take to becoming a music supervisor.

Chris Clark is Managing Partner, Executive Creative Producer, and Music Supervisor for global full-service music and sound company, Squeak E. Recent highlights include music and audio post-production for Instacart's hit Super Bowl commercial featuring Ben Stiller and Benson Boone, along with numerous Gold Clio Music awards for Heinz Mustard's collab with DJ Mustard. Named a Billboard Branding Power Player in 2019, Chris has a wealth of experience both on the agency and production vendor/partner side, and has led Squeak's expertise in Sonic Branding since 2020.
He moved over to Squeak E. Clean after many years as Director of Music at Leo Burnett, where he led global music initiatives for Publicis Groupe and worked with brands and artists including Samsung (The Beatles, Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Lorde, Sylvan Esso, Doris Day), Nintendo (White Denim, Rubblebucket), McDonald’s (Sophie, Moon Taxi) and Sprint (Wilco, Alexi Murdoch).

Jessie LaBelle is a music supervisor and creative strategist with 15+ years of experience at the intersection of music, storytelling, and brand. Her career began in post-production sound design for commercials and film, giving her a rare technical foundation and an editorial ear that informs everything she does. She understands music-to-picture at a fundamental level and how it serves narrative, shapes emotion, and elevates the story being told.
Over her career, she has worked across advertising agencies, sync companies, and music publishing, collaborating with award-winning composers, including Dan Romer, and supervising music across hundreds of projects in advertising, branded content, film, and television. Her work includes landmark projects such as the Lollapalooza rebrand with C3 Presents and the Live Nation x Adobe x Janelle Monáe campaign, alongside music supervision for Coca-Cola, Visa, Levi's, McDonald's, and more. Currently, she serves as Director of Creative Sync at AM2/Angry Mob Music.
