Join us this upcoming Monday, February 10th at Keg Grove for the next Science on Tap Event! You are encouraged to bring food if you'd like to eat during the science presentations.We'll have presentations from two ISU physics students. Dany Yaacoub will be sharing his research on "Coulomb crystals" that form in the dense, hot plasmas of dead and dying stars. We'll also hear from Claire Campbell about red supergiant stars and their winds.
Between each speaker will be a 5-10 minute break when you can purchase beverages, use the restroom, and answer fun trivia questions that pair with the talks. At the end of the night, there will be a large Q&A session where you can ask any science question you want to any scientists in the room, followed by a raffle for anyone who filled out the trivia to have a chance at winning some fun science-related prizes.
