About this Event
We’re forever blowing bubbles here at Science Oxford, join us for bubble science! It’s double, double, toil and bubble-time, as kids mix up potions to try out what works best. Test the laws of physics and design and build the ultimate bubble blower, and see what makes the biggest. Take our Bubble Challenge and make shape-shifting bubbles, make a bubble inside a bubble, or touch a bubble without it bursting. Whether it’s Colin, Clyde or Cuthbert, make your own bubble caterpillar. Take home some ‘bubbly’ to celebrate.
Suitable for ages 5-9 (accompanied by an adult)
What is included in your ticket:
90 minute club session for one child and accompanying adult
Access to:
- Access to the woodland and outdoor areas from 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm)
- Parking (limited availability)
- Café 10am - 4pm
What is NOT included:
- Access to the Exploration Zone
Event Details
All Saturday Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things. Led by our expert club leaders with bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!
Emira's Kitchen café at the Science Oxford Centre is open on Saturdays from 10am-4pm, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and rolls. Families are welcome to bring picnics to eat at our lunch tables.

£14 per club ticket (includes Eventbrite booking fee. Admits one child and accompanying adult.
£5 additional adult/s ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas / café. All attendees need a ticket, for under 3’s we recommend the Family day instead.

Important notice: Centre works January - March 2025
There are necessary building improvements planned to take place at the Science Oxford Centre between January and March 2025. The outdoor lunch space at the end of our building is being enclosed to provide a weather-proof area that our visitors will be able to enjoy all year round. There should be no disruption to any indoor activities at the Science Oxford Centre for Family Day visitors or those attending clubs, but there may be temporary diversions put in place for access to the woodlands.
