Sci-Fi Book Club - Spread Me by Sarah Gailey.
Come join us for a discussion about Spread Me by Sarah Gailey.
We're meeting at The Stable in Birmingham city centre (John Bright street) on Thursday 4th June at 7pm.
The event is free to attend and you're very welcome to join us. Please let us know you're coming so we know how big of a table to reserve. We are nice, promise.
The structure will be:
- 'are you the book club?', 'yes'
- Intros and chat
- When we decide we have everyone, recap of the book
- Open discussion
- Decide on what the next sci-fi book will be (short list will be provided and we'll vote on the winner)
We are a horror/sci-fi book club, so we alternate between genres each month. This means you know which books you'll be reading 2 months in advance, which hopefully gives plenty of time to find a copy or reserve it from the library. We usually meet on the 1st Thursday of the month.
For the avoidance of doubt, this is a LGBTQIA+ friendly event. Please bring your authentic self to hang out with us. :)
