Day in Blue 2026 – Elevating Women. Strengthening Community. Importance of Civic Engagement. 

Wednesday, May 6, 2026 | South Carolina Statehouse

Join us for the 11th Annual Day in Blue on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, as we bring together elected officials, community leaders, advocates, students, and engaged citizens from across South Carolina for a powerful day of inspiration, civic engagement, and leadership development.

Day in Blue is our signature convening focused on equipping women to lead, serve, and participate meaningfully in public life. This event is designed to elevate women's leadership, foster civic engagement, and create space for reflection, strategy, and collective action. Attendees will hear from influential voices, engage in timely discussions, and connect with others committed to strengthening our communities and our democracy.

This year's program centers on four key areas:

  • Mental well-being and protecting your peace
  • Advocacy and embodying meaningful change
  • Preparing the next generation of women to lead
  • Life, purpose, and impact beyond any single role

Who Should Attend?

Day in Blue is open to elected officials, public-service professionals, nonprofit leaders, students, grassroots organizers, and community members who are passionate about leadership, service, and civic participation.

Registration opens at 8:00 a.m., with the program beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m. Space is limited, and tickets are expected to fill quickly; early registration is strongly encouraged. Please note that the event will be held on the Statehouse grounds in a tent located outside the Blatt Building.

Parking: Reserved meter parking will be available on Assembly, Pendleton, and Senate Streets. Additional paid parking is available at the corner of Assembly and Gervais Streets.
