Join us at Goodwater in Northcote for an afternoon of whiskey, raising funds for Scarf as a so that they can continue transforming young lives through hospitality.
The tasting will be led by Starward’s Head Distiller, Carlie Dyer & Brand Ambassador, Sarah Jones.
The whiskey generously donated to taste on the day;
- A Two-Fold welcome cocktail
- Panettone,Two-Fold whisky finished in Australian tawny barrels
- Nova, Single Malt Whiskey finished in Australian Fortified Wine barrels
- Single Malt Whiskey finished in Australian Chardonnay casks
- Single Malt Whiskey finished in Corio Distillery casks
- A surprise cask sample
Doors at 1.00pm, hard kick off at 1.30pm. Tickets are $65 plus booking fee. $35 per ticket will be used to cover Goodwater’s operational costs for the day, $30 per ticket will be donated directly to Scarf. Tickets include a welcome cocktail, whiskey tasting and canapés.
We hope you’ll stick around after the tasting, and enjoy some drink specials for a good cause. Post-tasting, there’ll be a range of special cocktails available with $5 per cocktail donated to Scarf. Some of the Scarf team will be at Goodwater from 4.00pm to chat with punters about their work, and one of Scarf's legendary graduates will gain paid work experience on the day.
Scarf is a social enterprise (and registered charity) which has been transforming the lives of young people seeking protection, and those from refugee and migrant backgrounds through hospitality for close to 15 years. This event acts as the finale for their ‘Do More Than Drink’ fundraising and awareness building campaign, which runs from 10-16 March.
