However since those bygone days when that big orange tabby spoke such wisdom, there has been incredible technological and entertainmical progress. One of these innovations is known as SOCIAL SANCTUARY: a brave new concept wherein Rock And Roll is performed at Northcote Social Club on a Monday Night. This time around its local garage rockers RHYSICS to take on the responsibility and make you bang your head and move your feet, and drive any and all of those Monday blues away.

This week Rhysics, It Thing and Bad Bangs are stopping by for a show.
It Thing are a Melbourne via Tasmania based 4-piece art-punk group who use their enthusiasm and unspent energy playing loud rock music to unassuming bystanders. Their sound has been described as hypnotic, angular & feral. Their recent 2024 EP, "Spirit Level" saw high acclaim earning them a spot at the top of the independent ARIA charts and on the NME 100 2025 list, and has been a favourite among underground indie-rock nerds around the world.
Bad Bangs serve up their unique brand of garage rock - somewhere between punk and country, folk and psych the four piece outfit are sure to pack a punch.
