Get ready for an exciting in-person event where digital preservation meets the mining world. The primary goal of this exhibition is to share the story of the Britannia Mine community while also demonstrating innovative methods of digital preservation and storytelling. The exhibition aims to show how emerging technologies can deepen engagement with historical narratives while expanding accessibility and long-term preservation.
Where students, educators, and the public can experience the scans through virtual reality and 3D-printed recreations, offering an accessible and engaging encounter with Canada’s history.
