This premier one-day international culinary experience will convene leaders from across food, business, education, and policy to explore how culinary identity can drive economic growth, innovation, and opportunity—all while celebrating culture and unity through food.

Fueled by generations of immigrant communities, Newark’s food scene stands as a living expression of the people who call the city home. Each culture contributes its distinct traditions and flavors, shaping an authentic and dynamic culinary landscape. From the Portuguese, Brazilian, and Spanish influences that define the Ironbound District, to the growing presence of African, Caribbean, and South American cuisines across the city, Newark has emerged as a true culinary crossroads.
