About this Event
After our recent Red, Red Wine event where we featured 4 lesser-known red grapes, we're excited to bring you 3 white wines from off the beaten path and pair them with plant-based foods.
In this casual, sit-down tasting, we'll explore each grape, and understand why it's considered 'green', not only in terms of it's aromatic and flavour profiles, but in terms of how the wineries are caretakers of the land.
Meet your hosts:
Priya Rao is the founder of , hosting plant-based food & wine events in Toronto and beyond. An expert in 'vegan wine, she is a contributing writer for and where she focuses on issues around sustainability, vegan lifestyle and wine. She's all about making wine accessible and non-intimidating, and most of all, fun.
is a certified Sommelier through the International Sommelier Guild since 2004 and is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers. She loves to share her passion for wine, food, and travel, specializing in personal wine tasting events including private, corporate, and charity events.
