SAVE CAFFEINE UNDERGROUND FESTIVAL

Hi everyone!!!! My name is K.C. Raniero, I’m about to become the new owner of Caffeine Underground, and I'm throwing a festival to make this dream come true!!!!!

Ian is moving on after 8 years at Caffeine Underground, and to say that I'm extremely happy to carry on the Caffeine Underground torch is a vast understatement. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a dream of running my own coffeehouse that supports local music. The first time I walked into Caffeine Underground (by a totally serendipitous accident), I felt like I had found the place I had been missing my whole life. As someone who has been straight edge for the entirety of my life and vegan for the past 15 years, it has been incredible to find a sober venue that is so welcoming to vegans. I've been throwing shows here since 2022, and it has brought me so many opportunities for joy, connection, and growth. Caffeine Underground is truly a place where people come together to share their gifts with one another freely, without expecting anything in return. At the center of Caffeine Underground is a vibrant community powered by love, compassion, and creative expression, and I can't imagine anything more meaningful or fulfilling for me than carrying on the legacy of such an exceptionally warm and welcoming community, where differences aren't just accepted but celebrated for how they contribute to our community's tapestry.

I have strongly believed for years that Caffeine Underground will undoubtedly go down in history as the place where the most promising young minds of our generation gathered to create art, exchange ideas, and raise consciousness! In the future, when the new artistic and cultural movement is studied, it is traced back to Caffeine Underground. In the future, Caffeine Underground is widely understood to have been the gathering place where visionaries who were ahead of their time first came together to carve out new and brighter spaces.

In my time throwing shows at Caffeine Underground, I have learned so, so much about artistry and entrepreneurship, and my intention now is to implement these lessons as I continue to offer an accessible space for everyone to keep making art and cultivating meaningful friendships.To make this transition happen, we need to raise $100,000. The current lease ends on the last day of March, so on March 23rd, I will be throwing a giant music and arts festival with performances by all of my friends to crowdfund for the relaunch of Caffeine Underground!
