Sauna & Cold Plunge with CYAN

Take a couple hours to slow down, warm up, and reset with CYAN at Everwild Canmore. This sauna social is all about easy connection and doing something a little different: move between hot and cold, relax, and take it at your own pace in a calm, welcoming environment.

This event is open to all young adults (18+) and is beginner-friendly. Whether you’ve tried sauna and cold plunge before or you’re just curious, you’re welcome to join. It’s designed to be social but low-pressure - come solo or with friends, and participate as much or as little as you’d like.

We’ll start with a quick welcome to help everyone get settled, then the rest of the time is yours. Move freely between saunas, hot and cold pools, steam rooms, and relaxation spaces. There’s no set schedule or required structure - you can follow your own rhythm, take breaks, or chat with others as you go. A CYAN staff member will be there to help facilitate light connection and keep things feeling comfortable and inclusive.

The session takes place at Everwild Canmore, a modern thermotherapy space with a mix of indoor and outdoor elements. Expect a range of heat experiences, cold plunge pools, steam rooms, and cozy relaxation domes, along with lounge areas to cool down and unwind between rounds.

Your thermotherapy access is included with your ticket. Food and drinks are available for purchase on-site at Elements Lounge (no reservation needed), and guests can also visit Rhythm & Howl restaurant before or after their session.

What to bring: a swimsuit (required), sandals or flip-flops, and a reusable water bottle (no glass). You may also want to bring a toque or hat for between sauna rounds, and a robe or extra layer for moving between spaces.

Please note that Everwild is a cellphone-free facility, so phones will not be permitted during the session.

Accessibility notes: This experience involves high heat, cold exposure, and wet surfaces, which may not be suitable for everyone. Please listen to your body and participate at your own comfort level. Seating and quiet areas are available for rest, and you’re welcome to step in and out of the experience at any time.

Community & Inclusion

You are always welcome to attend CYAN events on your own - many people do! Our event staff are there to support you, and we often use light icebreakers to help everyone feel comfortable and included.

While CYAN’s programming is designed with young adults in mind, everyone is welcome to attend our events, except events involving alcohol, which are 18+ only.
