Curated by poet T M Ahmed Kaysher, this session of Saudha International Literature Festival is shedding new lights on the three anti-fascist poets of the last century Federico García Lorca (1898-1936), Kazi Nazrul Islam (1899-1966) Nazim Hikmet (1902-1963) to read and re-interpret fascism and other socio-political paradigms of contemporary world; romanticism and other relevant literature-movements.
The session involves insightful talks by renowned poets and academics, a series of haunting spoken word as well as music performances.
The festival has been supported by Mayor's Small Grant Programme of Tower Hamlets Council and A Season of Bangla Drama.
As part of Saudha International Literature Festival, poet Ahmed Kaysher is bringing hypnotic theatrical production of visceral spoken-words and haunting music that re-interprets the heart-piercing poetry and the tragic life of a major modern poet of English literature Sylvia Plath.

Saudha's lyrics of Love at the SouthBank Centre and at Edinburgh Fringe and Chayanaut through Sebastian Bach at the House of Commons, Taste of Twilight at ICCR, Kolkata and the Welsh Parliament were critically acclaimed by major media and musicologists. During Covid, Saudha took the first ever and historic initiative to connect leading musicians of the globe, writers, poets, painters and filmmakers from all across the world through social media platforms and the sessions were hugely appreciated by the audiences from all around the globe.
