Sponsored by Alex Sobel MP, this session of Saudha International Literature Festival is happening in Committe Room 11 of UK's Parliament House ( The Palace of Westminister) on Thursday 4 December from 17:30 to 19:30.
The session will feature some extremely powerful verses on love, lust and longing by both contemporary and ancient poets, writers and philosophers through some haunting performances and music preentations. The session will also launch an acclamied and widely researched book called Tale of Tawaif editted by one of finest Indian classical vocalists based in the UK Chandra Chakraborty.
The access to the room is through Cromwell Green entrance and the audiences were advised to allow at least 20/30 minutes for security check prior to the event. So best to be there by 5pm for the event starting at 5:30pm.
