Forest Restoration Workshop at Blue Heron Park - For this, our 358th workshop, we’ll meet in the Blue Heron Nature Center parking lot, 222 Poillon Avenue, then cross the street to the Meadow Loop Red Trail to Blue Heron Pond where we will pull and pile Mile-a-minute vine that is invading the park. We began this Mile-a-minute project in July of 2021, but there’s probably enough work here for another decade! This early in the year bagging what we pull out probably won’t be necessary, but in case we find some flowering we’ll have bags with us. Protectors will supply gloves, bags, and refreshments.
