About this Event
This term, Stanley Picker Gallery are pleased to be hosting two special Saturday Art Clubs (8 & 22 November) at our partner venue Dorich House Museum, the 1930's former studio-home of artist Dora Gordine, located along Kingston Vale, a 'deer's leap' from Richmond Park.
These fun and free sessions for children ages 7-11 will be led by a team of Kingston School of Art students and alumni, and during their visit the young artists will delve into the themes of the museum in fun and engaging ways – combining interactive games, making, drawing, and discussion – as they explore the site and practice of its creative inhabitants. The content of each session will be different and children are welcome to attend either or both.
Parents are encouraged to drop their children off and return at the end of the session, to see what has been taking place and to explore the museum together. Alternatively, you are are welcome to sit in our cafe area.
All materials are provided.
We are committed to being an inclusive venue; feel free to discuss your child's access needs with us in advance. See contact details below.
