Sardines (Sketch Off! 2025 Finalists) present ‘In Butter’. An absurd hour of sketch comedy, exorcising the trio's innermost fantasies.

Following sold out shows in Bristol and London, Sardines are coming to Edinburgh.

Join this trio of taller-than-average comedians as they unleash their debut show, “In Butter” - an hour of sketch comedy that’s sharp, stupid, and fully committed to the bit. 

Writers and performers Cecilia Orr, Livvie Newman, and Sarah Alli blend sharp writing with “good chemistry” (Bruce Dessau, Beyond the Joke), pinging off each other to create a uniquely collaborative show that showcases the best of what happens when three brilliant idiots share one brain cell.

A show that’s fizzing with anarchic warmth, energy, and silliness, this all-female trio brings sketches fresh from the tin, characters you’ll be quoting for weeks, and ultimately, a ruddy nice time.
