About this Event
Calling all sapphic romance lovers! Whether you’re a longtime fan of sapphic stories or just discovering the magic of women-loving-women romance, Pride & Petals is thrilled to host a free, in-person book club celebrating sapphic love in all its forms.
Our mission is simple: to bring together readers who share a passion for heartfelt stories, swoon-worthy characters, and authentic representation. Join us for an evening of lively discussion, tasty snacks, and genuine community connection. Whether you’ve read every sapphic romance under the sun or are just starting your journey, this is a safe, welcoming space to make new friends, share your thoughts, and celebrate love in all its beautiful diversity.
Come for the books, stay for the laughter, and leave with a heart full of joy (and maybe a few new friends!). We can’t wait to meet you and chat about our latest sapphic read!
We have limited space for this book club, so make sure you save yourself a spot.
For the February 6th book club, we have chosen Delilah Green Doesn’t Care by Ashley Herring Blake:
We’re starting the new year with a sapphic rom-com that is sharp, sexy, heartfelt, and filled with delicious small-town chaos: Delilah Green Doesn’t Care by Ashley Herring Blake!
Delilah Green swore she’d never go back to Bright Falls; the town she grew up in, the town she ran from, the town that never truly felt like home. But when she’s guilt-tripped into photographing her stepsister’s wedding, Delilah returns… camera in hand, attitude fully intact, and absolutely not prepared for Claire Sutherland.
Claire has her hands full: co-parenting, running a bookstore, and keeping her best friends from spiraling. The last thing she needs is Delilah - broody, tattooed, infuriatingly attractive Delilah - waltzing back into town and stirring up feelings she definitely did not plan on having.
Expect:
✨ slow-burn chemistry
✨ delicious queer tension
✨ found family + messy families
✨ healing, desire, and second chances
If you love romances with heart, humor, heat, and big queer energy, this is your book. Join us for a cozy night at Pride & Petals as we kick off 2026 with laughter, loud opinions, and an unforgettable love story.
And don’t forget, you can always stop by the store to grab your copy of Delilah Green Doesn't Care at Pride & Petals.
