Santa's Treasure Trail in Vancouver

Step on your special Christmas slippers and go on a magical treasure hunt adventure through the magnificent streets of Vancouver!

This Christmas Treasure Hunt will have you visit new and old places in town, solve witty puzzles in your surroundings, learn magical stories about Christmas, and help Santa on a special mission. By solving quizzes and riddles, you'll discover amazing facts and legends behind our old and new Christmas traditions.

This will be a fun experience combining the excitement of a treasure hunt with that of learning, discovering and completing challenges. You will be guided by the app, following directions in order to find all the exciting clues, stories and places.

This activity is perfect for any age and can be enjoyed at anytime between December 1st and January 31st.

HOW DOES IT WORK❓

The entire outdoor exploration game is delivered through a mobile app.

1. Book your tickets 🎫.

2. Get the instructions via email.

3. Download the Questo mobile app (as instructed via email) and head to the starting point on the day that you choose📍.

4 . Invite your friends and start exploring. ❤

Visit the 1945 war memorial in Victory Square (and notice the street lamps shaped like helmets!)
Meet the cherubs of the Dominion Building and the nymphs of the old Greenshields Warehouse
If you're playing anytime around Christmas, you'll end on the doorstep of the Vancouver Christmas Market!

WHEN CAN YOU PLAY THIS❓

This outdoor Christmas treasure hunt adventure can be played anytime during December 2024 and January 2025.

AGE RECOMMENDATION❓

People of all ages can attend the event, from munchkins to grandmas. Kids under 10 can tag along too, with the mention that they usually don’t interact with the puzzles and challenges in the app as much as the others, as they may be too complex for their age.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED❓

The event will not feature live actors or decorations, as the entire fun consists of a self-guided Christmas experience.
You will be playing by yourself, following the instructions in the Questo app.
The puzzles and riddles make use of the environment around you, so, during the game, you will observe and interact with the buildings, statues and murals you'll discover along the trail as you follow the clues.
