The visa is available upon arrival only, valid for 30 days from the date of entry and if you are planning to stay longer, you can request to extend your stay through the nearest immigration office in the UAE.
Please make sure to have the following before departure:
An original US passport (should not expire within six (6) months from the expected time of arrival to UAE).
A round-trip airline ticket or confirmed ticket to another destination.
