'Sanctuary by Design' Talk & Book Signing

Join us for a fascinating discussion exploring the significance of sensory design in the creation of truly life-enhancing homes with interior designer Diana Blanchard and interiors editor Kerryn Harper-Cuss.

As authors of new book ‘Sanctuary by Design’, they will share a fresh perspective that moves beyond trends and aesthetics to a more holistic design approach. This offers a joyful opportunity to create interiors that engage all the senses and support the deeper physiological and psychological health and wellbeing of loved ones.

During the talk they will invite you to discover ways to design spaces that can lift the heart, comfort the body and ease the mind, Their ethos seeks to help us to live in harmony with the natural world and fulfil the promise of 'home'.

There will also be a chance to talk directly with Diana and Kerryn at the end of the session over drinks and snacks as well as to pick up a signed copy of the book.

Diana Blanchard founded Blanchard, an international award-winning interior design studio based in London, in 1991. Her projects are attuned to the individuality of clients and their homes and prioritise environmental sensitivity and timeless style. Her work has been featured in House & Garden, Homes and Gardens and The English Home magazines. Diana is also a practising member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), with a special interest in neuroscience and somatics.

Kerryn Harper-Cuss is an independent interiors journalist and former editor of three magazines, most recently The English Home, where she was editor-in-chief of both its UK and US editions for almost 12 years. Passionate about craftsmanship, sustainable homes and ‘slow living’, she is an advocate for enduring design and heritage skills, promoting the voices of thought-provoking experts. Kerryn is also an ambassador for the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST).
