Founded by a mother, Arlene Rosen, who lost her son, Michael, to a drug overdose in 1989, Michael’s House has provided hope and recovery for adults affected by substance use and addiction for 35 years now. Located in beautiful Palm Springs, CA, our program provides a full continuum of addiction treatment, including detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, transitional living, as well as a robust alumni program. We are in-network with most major insurance plans including Kaiser, TRICARE, and VA Community Care Network. Michael’s House is dedicated to serving individuals from diverse backgrounds and our staff composition allows us to provide a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for individuals from all walks of life. Our evidenced-based programs are led by master’s level therapists, certified addiction counselors, licensed nurses, and psychiatrist, as well as experiential therapists who provide equine therapy, art, mindfulness, meditation walks, and sober activities in the community.
