About this Event
For our 2025 Project Worldwide event, the Texas Exes San Antonio Chapter will be completing a service project at the Texas Diaper Bank.
Volunteers will help repackage product or prepare donated items for distribution to our clients and the Texas Diaper Bank's 70+ partner agencies; volunteers will also help with some of the day-to-day tasks that make distribution and inventorying more efficient.
The Texas Exes San Antonio Chapter is hosting two shifts: 12-2 pm and 2-4 pm. Please choose your preferred shift when you register. We will take a group picture between shifts at 2 pm.
Attire: Warehouse is climate controlled, dress comfortably/appropriately for the weather, and please wear closed toe shoes; this event is also a wonderful opportunity to sport your group’s t-shirts!
Water and Snacks: Texas Diaper Bank encourages you to bring your personal water bottle for your use at our refill station; light snacks and cold water are provided throughout the event.
Children and Age threshold: All children 5 and up are welcome to join!
Social Media: We encourage all volunteers to take pictures/videos and post them on your favorite social media accounts, tag your group, and tag the Texas Diaper Bank!
Meeting Location:
DO NOT PARK AT THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING. Park at the back of the building across from Bay 13 and the two white Texas Diaper Bank donation bins. The volunteer door will be open before the event starts.

Established in 1997 as the Hispanic Religious Partnership for Community, the Texas Diaper Bank refocused its mission in 2010 in response to consistently witnessing one vital, yet forgotten basic need that impacts the physical, mental and economic well-being of individuals: diapers. Project Worldwide is an international service initiative created through a partnership between the Texas Exes and the Department of Diversity and Community Engagement. Project Worldwide takes place in the month of February in conjunction with The Project, The University of Texas at Austin’s largest day of service, which takes place the last Saturday of February every year. By teaming up, the DDCE and the Texas Exes have extended community service throughout the month of February and around the globe.
