The San Antonio Self-Care Fair is a DreamWeek wellness experience designed to restore, reconnect, and activate community well-being through intentional self-care and local engagement.
From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, participants are invited into a morning of grounding practices, community connection, and exploration of holistic wellness pathways.
The experience begins with a guided sound bath, offering space for stillness, reflection, and grounding. This gentle entry sets the tone for a restorative morning focused on mindfulness and presence.
Next, attendees move into a light movement or breathwork session—featuring accessible practices such as Pilates-inspired stretching or guided breathing. These sessions are designed for all levels and emphasize mindfulness, mobility, and relaxation.
Following the guided wellness sessions, the event transitions into an open self-care market, where local vendors, practitioners, and wellness providers showcase products, services, and experiences that support whole-person well-being. This come-and-go marketplace encourages attendees to explore at their own pace, connect with local businesses, and discover new self-care practices.
At the core of the experience is the Self-Care Passport, a guided tool aligned with SAMHSA’s Eight Dimensions of Wellness—emotional, physical, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, financial, and occupational. Each vendor is intentionally aligned with one or more dimensions, helping attendees understand self-care as a comprehensive, interconnected practice.
As participants engage with vendors, their passport is stamped. Completed stamps unlock opportunities for giveaways and continued engagement through both physical and digital versions of the Passport, connecting attendees to wellness experiences across San Antonio well beyond DreamWeek.
The San Antonio Self-Care Fair celebrates self-care as both a personal practice and a community investment—uplifting individuals, supporting local businesses, and strengthening the collective well-being of the city.

VIP Sound Bath

A restorative, grounding beginning to your self-care journey.
The Sound Bath Experience invites participants to settle into stillness as they are immersed in the calming tones of crystal singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments. This guided session is designed to gently soothe the nervous system, release tension, and support deep relaxation.
During the experience, attendees are encouraged to lie down or sit comfortably as sound waves wash over the body, promoting balance, mindfulness, and a renewed sense of presence. Accessible for all levels, the Sound Bath offers a peaceful transition into the day and sets the tone for a restorative self-care journey.

Breathwork Workshop

The Breathwork Workshop is a brief yet powerful session designed to help participants reconnect with their breath, release tension, and cultivate a sense of calm. In just 15–30 minutes, attendees will learn simple, accessible breathing techniques that support relaxation, mental clarity, and nervous system regulation.
Led by a trained facilitator, this workshop introduces participants to foundational practices such as diaphragmatic breathing, paced breathing, and grounding breath patterns. These exercises are suitable for all experience levels and can be easily integrated into daily routines.

Gentle Pilates Movement Session
Info: A 30-minute, no-equipment workshop for strength, mobility, and mindful movement.
This short Pilates-inspired workshop introduces participants to gentle, accessible movements designed to awaken the body, improve posture, and support core stability—without the need for any equipment. In just 30 minutes, attendees will move through a guided sequence focused on breath, alignment, and ease of motion.
The session emphasizes slow, controlled movements that are beginner-friendly and adaptable for all bodies and experience levels. Participants are welcome to perform exercises seated, standing, or on a mat, depending on comfort.
During this workshop, attendees will experience:
A light, energizing full-body warm-up
Simple Pilates-inspired exercises that build core awareness
Mobility and stretching movements to reduce tension
A mindful approach to movement, guided by breath
