Eric Celestino is a choreographer, professional dancer, and dance teacher. In the 15 years of his career, he has visited France, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, The Netherlands, England, Switzerland, Cuba, and the US, teaching, performing and sharing the Brazilian culture with dance communities across the globe.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, Eric started dancing as a teenager. He learned from major Brazilian Dance Professionals, including Jimmy de Oliveira, Jaime Aroxa, and Carlos Bolacha, and in 2017 he won 1st place in "Gafieira Brasil", the biggest Samba de Gafieira Competition in the World. Currently Eric owns the online Baila Comigo Dance School and is the director of the Baila Comigo Experience.
Abigals pursuit for a deeper connection and understanding of Latin dance began in 2012, where she fell in love with Samba in all its forms including performing. Abigail began to teach others and create her own choregroahy in 2018. Abigail has co-created multiple dance retreats and traveled abroad to teach and to train. Abigail is a Psychotherapist and a certified yoga instructor, weaving this aspect ofmindful and caring awareness and care into her dance and teaching. She continues to grow her teaching and relentless study of a culture she loves together with her partner and husband, Eric Celestino in Bay City, Michigan where she teaches and performs.
