This one is for you Mi Gente. It is free to enter and timed to allow families to take part. Square Chapel offered us the space to dance, and so we shall. It is a very lovely space, just beside the Piece Hall and train station.
We will begin with a warm-up, and a very short taster class, then the music plays for us to dance and hang out.
Please do not bring any drinks or food, those are available on premisses.
This is a community event, anybody can join, any age, any skill level.
Participation is free.
If you have never danced before, ask for Gosia so that myself, or any other available teacher can get you started. You can find out about all local salsa classes and upcoming events. Chat to the dancers and find out what it's all about.
