Weโre Kachimbaz, a Sydney based Latin band made up of musicians from different parts of Latin America and Australia.
Our live show is focused on rhythm, movement and connection drawing from cumbia, salsa, merengue, ska, reggae and Latin rock to create something thatโs upbeat, inclusive and easy for people to dance to.
Over the past few years weโve been playing regularly around Sydney and at multicultural and Latin festivals all over Australia, and weโve been lucky to build a loyal crowd that keeps coming back to our shows. Weโve also had the opportunity to support established acts, which helped us grow and connect with wider audiences.
For us, the priority is creating a good atmosphere where people feel comfortable dancing, hanging out and enjoying live music together.
