Join Yoselyn Sanchez of Iroko Dance Academy for a Salsa Class at 7pm at Hotel Haya in Ybor City!BIO: Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Yoselyn entered the dance world at age 11 and immediately gained a passion for dancing salsa. At age 15, she was appointed as the Cultural Program Director for the Newark Puerto Rican Day Parade Executive Board, teaching salsa dance classes to the community. Yoselyn has trained with companies including Peak Latin Dance Team and Shani Talmor"s Cadencia Ladies Team and performed on stages with artists such as Tito Nieves, Andy Montañez, and La India, to name a few. Recently moved to Tampa, Yoselyn joined Iroko Dance Company’s Pro Team, and is currently teaching weekly salsa classes.
Join us in this beautiful 4-star space and receive professional level instruction in Salsa!
The class level will be catered to those that attend, but technique and fundamentals will be paramount. We will start with a warmup, migrate to technique and learn something that you can immediately use at a dance social.
The 2nd hour until 9pm will be used to practice what you learned.
No partner needed. Dance shoes not required, but we can advise on proper dance shoes as you advance.
$20 for the class and practice.
