You will prepare a 50cm long cacciatore-style salami to take home and wait to cure, then enjoy on your next charcuterie board.A hands-on, budget-friendly, social, and informative session supported by Canning Show, you'll also have the opportunity to enjoy morning tea and gastronomically enhanced chats. **MEMBERSHIP - PLEASE NOTE:
EVERYONE is welcome to this workshop, however please note:
- If you have already been to a Community Harvest event before and are not a 2024 CAHRS Member, you will also need to renew/purchase a Membership for $25.
- Becoming a member will see you receive the benefits below, including attending other Community Harvest events throughout the year without a need to pay membership again.
- Memberships can be paid before or at the workshop.
- If this is to be your first Community Harvest workshop, there is no need to purchase a membership as it will be considered a trial.

- All kitchen equipment
- Tea & coffee
- Morning tea
TO BRING:
- Container at least 50cm long to take home salami stick
- Tea Towel
- Cooking apron (recommended but not necessary)

ABOUT COMMUNITY HARVEST:
Community Harvest is a not-for-profit group connecting anyone interested in preserving seasonal harvests. Passata making, olive curing, oil processing, sausage making and more, our aim is to create a melting pot of cultures united in preserving and sharing food traditions.
Workshops are priced to cover the materials (and facilitator if hired), varying across sessions, but always kept low. Everyone with an interest is welcome to join, provided you become a CAHRS Member if attending more than once.
