Salad Days Market is hosting a one day pop-up market inside the iconic South London venue that is Dulwich Picture Gallery, and you're invited!
Come down to browse and shop with 19 talented local makers with a wide and varied selection of beautiful handmade goods on offer. Expect to find unusual and special things at this one-off pop-up market, from versatile ceramics, to colourful original artworks, handmade gemstone jewellery, and small-batch beauty and body products made with essential oils, amongst many other wonders.
A visit to Salad Days market is a fantastic way to discover and shop with the best, most brilliant and talented small businesses from around the city! The makers will be at the market on the day, so you can meet the people behind the brands and discover lots more about how they design and make their products from the craftspeople themselves. It's the perfect opportunity to support creative people and independent businesses from within your local community and have a fabulous day out in the process.
Involving the local community is at the very heart of Salad Days Market, so the event is free to enter, and open to everyone! Open from 11am-4pm on Sunday 13th August for one day only. Let's shop small, and spread joy together!
Once you're done shopping, you'll be able to while away the rest of the day on site! Enjoy viewing the artwork inside Dulwich Picture Gallery, have coffee and lunch at their on site cafe, or take a walk through the beautiful grounds. Salad Days Market was formerly known as A South London Makers Market.
We are an award winning market, founded in 2019 by twin sisters Liv Tinker and Daisy Tinker. We have hosted 50+ small business shopping events in London, including 3 pop-ups inside Selfridges, The Hoxton Hotel, The Shard and Gipsy Hill Brewery Taproom.
We were voted 'London's Best Street Market' in Time Out Magazine's Best Of The City Awards.

? HOW DO I GET THERE? ?
The gallery is in the heart of Dulwich Village, South London, between Brixton and Peckham.
Via National Rail. Both West Dulwich and North Dulwich station are a 10 minute walk away from Dulwich Picture Gallery where the market will be held.
Via London Underground. Please take the Victoria Line to Brixton, then take the P4 bus alighting at Dulwich Picture Gallery, or take National Rail train from Brixton to West Dulwich.
Via London Overground. Alight at Peckham Rye then the National Rail train or 37 bus to North Dulwich Station.
P4, 3, 37, P13 buses all serve the immediate surrounding area.
There is free parking on Gallery Road, directly outside the gallery.
