Join us in the Melrose Medicinal Garden for an in-depth look at culinary sage (Salvia officinalis) and its medicinal properties. Attendees will learn how to harvest and dry sage, while deepening their understanding of its botanical structures. Everyone will receive a handout with recipes that highlight sage as an ingredient and enjoy a snack of sage potatoes. Each attendee will make their own herbal bundle to take home and hang in their kitchen.

This event is part of a series of introductory herbalism classes supported by a National Community Reinvestment Grant. Attendees will work with medicinal plants that support healthy stress management and overall wellness at an outdoor living classroom of 35+ different medicinal plant species.
