The picnic will be held at the large pavilion (Pavilion #5 on the map) near the fenced playground (that's right- we said "fenced playground!). This link provides the exact location of the pavilion:

Heyday Speech, Touchtree OT, Harmony Music Therapy, and Not A Robot Therapy have all volunteered to run "play tables" at the picnic, which will include a wide array of sensory-friendly, play-based activities. We will also provide snacks and drinks, and of course you are more than welcome to bring your own eats as we know many of our kiddos have unique food preferences. Also, Huckleberry Hiking will be in attendance and they plan to offer demos of their Cascade Cart, which is an adaptive hiking device.
This event is meant to be a casual social get-together, not a resource fair. In addition to giving kids a chance to play outdoors and have fun, we also hope this event provides an opportunity for parents and other caregivers to connect and meet new people.
Additionally, we are running a silent auction associated with the picnic. There will be options for both online and in-person participation. This is a fundraiser to help us raise money to help put on events such as this and our other outdoor events such as rafting trips and parent retreats. More info on the auction will be posted as we get closer to the picnic.
