Overview
What are common risk factors related to safety concerns? We will discuss risk factors related to thoughts of hurting self or others. This training will also discuss risk factors related to sex trafficking and other mandated reporting. We will discuss how to support clients and families while promoting safety.
Presenters
Jessica Martzahl,LPC, is a graduate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with a Counseling Specialization. Jess also is a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist. Jess Martzahl currently works with children and adolescents through the school-based collaboration with Kenosha Unified School District. She is the School-Based Services Program Manager for Professional Services Group. Jess see’s individual clients through the school that present with a multitude of mental health concerns, collaborates with school staff, and supervises therapists that are part of the school-based team.
Angela Langenfeld is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the state of Wisconsin with a Specialty to Treat Substance Use Disorders. Angela completed her Master of Science in Community Counseling at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Angela is an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Informed therapist who has also trained in the Comprehensive Resource Model of treatment. Angela currently provides trauma responsive clinical supervision and therapy through Professional Services Group. Angela strives to cultivate and inspire a strengths based, trauma informed, and culturally responsive lens to case conceptualization.
Jenny Conrardy PsyD is a licensed psychologist. She graduated from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology and completed her internship at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. She has worked with children and adults throughout her training placements and has experience providing individual and group therapy as well as psychological evaluations for all ages. She has worked in a number of settings including, school, private practice, and community-based settings. Dr. Conrardy has experience working with a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, ADHD, and trauma.
Professional Services Group has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7066. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Professional Services Group is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
