safeTALK Training - Open to Community
- Date: Tuesday November 25th, 2025
- Time: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM (EST)
- Location: Indwell - Dr. John M. Perkins Centre (1429 Main St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1C2)
In honour of Men's Mental Health month, CMHA Hamilton is hosting a safeTALK Training, sponsored by the Suicide Prevention Community Council of Hamilton (SPCCH). Thanks to their support, snacks and coffee will be provided for participants. This opportunity was brought forth under the Roots of Hope suicide prevention project, a collaboration between CMHA Hamilton and SPCCH.
"At a LivingWorks safeTALK workshop, you'll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, engaging someone, and connecting them to an intervention resource for further support. A skilled, supportive trainer will guide you through the course, and a community resource will be on hand to support your safety and comfort." (Living Works, 2023)
* Please note that this training is intended for community members. We kindly request that organizations limit registration to one staff member. For closed-group trainings, please contact Mikaela Ivanco at: [email protected]
