About this Event

This course is designed and delivered at level 2 to give everyone who works with, or has contact with children, young people and/or their families an introduction to safe- guarding children and young people.

Those attending will gain knowledge and awareness about: legislation and guidance; the recognition of child abuse; identifying the barriers to children and adults
reporting concerns; know how to respond and report concerns; who to contact when there is a concern; fulfilling ‘duty of care’; safe practice and keeping children and young people safe.

The cost is £10 unwaged or £50 waged.
