About this Event
Safe Plates for Food Managers is an evidence-based, interactive food safety training course developed by NC State University. This training course prepares participants for a CFP-ANSI accredited Certified Food Protection Manager exam from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals. This is a comprehensive program for food service managers and supervisory staff in restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes, schools and other food handling establishments. Please join us April 28th through 29th, 2026. The daily schedule will be from 9am to 5pm which allows for instructional time and includes time to sit for the exam.
Sign up today! We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way Barco, NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
