Get your hands dirty and learn how to create your own tiny indoor bonsai masterpiece from scratch!About this Event
Bonsai is the art of training and maintaining a potted plant to resemble a miniature tree. In this hands-on class, participants will learn the fundamentals of caring for indoor succulent bonsai, including proper pruning, transplanting, shaping, and styling techniques.
The course fee is $35.00 and includes all materials: expert instruction, a container, a pruning tool, and a succulent bonsai that you will design and create during the class. Participants will leave not only with a finished bonsai of their own, but also with the practical experience and foundational knowledge needed to continue learning and growing in the art of bonsai.
The class will be held on Wednesday, April 29, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the NC Cooperative Extension Currituck Center, located at 120 Community Way, Barco, NC.
