About this Event

After a tragic fire that killed local youth in 1990, African American Fire Fighters from Madison created the Jones-Robinson Scholarship. The Scholarship was named after the 5 childen killed in the fire. Along with the Scholarship, members created the Sable Flames organization. The organization is made up of African American members who wanted to uplift the community. The organization was created to raise money to fund the scholarships in order to uplift local low income youth.
