ABOUT RUVIT
Ruvit Bracho Marquez is a Venezuelan violinist whose musical journey began at age four, with formal violin studies starting at ten through her country’s El Sistema. Her early training included performances with the National Children’s Orchestra of Venezuela under the batons of Gustavo Dudamel and Sir Simon Rattle, and with the Youth Orchestra of Zulia “Rafael Urdaneta,” which toured internationally to Italy.
Ruvit earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance, graduating summa cum laude from Stetson University under Routa Kroumovitch, and completed her Master of Music here at Lynn, where she continues advanced studies with Carol Cole. She is a recipient of the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation Scholarship and serves as a Scholarship Ambassador for the organization.
Her performance career includes appearances with the Symphony of the Americas, Miami Symphony Orchestra, and the Aurora String Quartet. She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Sebastian Yatra, Sofia Carson, Fonseca, and Latin pop artist Bad Bunny, joining his Most Wanted Tour in 2024 as Orchestra Assistant with the Philharmonic Orchestra Project across the U.S. and Canada.
Ruvit has participated in masterclasses with Igor Pikayzen, David Kim, Grigory Kalinovsky, and Maestro Figueroa, and has been featured in recording sessions at Arthouse Studio with Grammy-winning producer Julio Reyes, contributing to Amazon Prime’s Zorro soundtrack and albums by artists including Joaquina, Jorge Luis Chacín, and Luis Fonsi.
Her competition accolades include second place in the Lyric Chamber Competition (2024) with the Aurora Quartet, and third place in the American Virtuoso International Competition (2023), earning an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall. She was also awarded a fellowship to the Dali Quartet International Music Festival.
Outside of music, Ruvit enjoys crafting, traveling, and engaging with her community.
