We supply Leki Poles to train you with.
What to expect:
• The ORIGINAL Running with Poles course - others may copy - no one knows it like we do!
• A professionally delivered course
• More information and skills than you can shake a Leki Trail Running Pole at!
• An outdoor gym to practice in
• Skills to learn how to walk and run with poles
• Between as 5 to 10km trail run to practice on
• Use of Leki 'test' poles (if you don't have your own or want to try new ones)
• Mixed weather - dress & plan accordingly

• How to walk using poles to propel you forwards
• How to use poles to propel your forwards whilst running
• Hill Techniques
• How to use your poles efficiently
• When to use poles & when to stow them away

Who is it for?
• All runners wanting to get to grips with using 'trail running poles' for running. So whether you're booked onto the UTMB, Rab Helvellyn Sky Ultra, Rab Scafell Sky Race, Lakeland 50 and 100, Keswick Mountain Festival Adidas TERREX 50k Ultra Trail, Dragons Back Race, the Spine Race or what ever ultra you can think of, then this is the course for you.
Whether you are elite or new to running, this course is perfect for you. We move at the speed of a mixed group.
Course Program…
• 9:30 TO 15:30
• 2.5 hours on a Nordic Walking workshop
• Break - 30 minutes to eat, hydrate and talk
• 3 hours 'running with poles' conversion in the most efficient way - inc. 5 to 10k trail run
