Join us for a relaxing half day session learning how to make handmade needle felted baubles using 100% Wool fibres.The session will be led by local Artist and Feltmaker Jane Bardgett who will guide you through each step. Once the Bauble shape is formed Wool fibres or yarns are needle felted onto the Bauble surface to create your own Christmas motifs and a hanging cord is stitched in place for the finishing touch.
They make the perfect handmade Christmas tree decoration or a loving Christmas gift for friends or family. By the end of your session, you will not only have learnt a new skill but have the confidence to make more at home if you wish.
In this session you will have enough materials to make between 3 to 4 baubles, depending on size and the speed you work at. There is an opportunity to purchases additional materials or tools if you would like to make more at home.
Included in the cost of your workshop is tea and coffee for the duration and cake.
