About this Event
This unique event is a sponsored 5k at night on the Airport’s runways - lit by the runway’s landing lights!
Maggie’s Dundee have exclusive access to the Airport. We will have a photo opp wall, music, fun and games. The inclusive 5k run (in optional fancy dress) will include a warmup followed by each group being called to their ‘gate’ (split into fastest runners, fun runners, skaters and walkers).
Registration begins at 8pm with the first 'flight' taking off at 9pm.
All participants receive a complimentary goody bag, Maggie’s t-shirt and finisher’s medal. There will be prizes for fastest finisher, best fancy dress and top fundraiser. Enjoy a celebratory drink at our complimentary mimosa and prosecco bar (non alcoholic options available too) in the airport lounge once you've completed Run the Runway.
Registration is £30 and we ask that you try to raise as much sponsorship money as you can for Maggie’s. Maggie’s turns 30 this year and we are asking our participants to raise a minimum of £300 in sponsorship money to help us to be here - today, tomorrow and always - for everyone impacted by cancer.
