To celebrate the beginning of summer, Eric from @rumble.vines joins forces with modern Taiwanese bistro Wine the Noodles for a one-night-only dinner centred around flavour, storytelling through food and wine.
Chef Yu’s journey began on the bustling streets of Taiwan with a simple commitment: to feed people comforting and soulful food. From a humble roadside noodle stall marked only by a small metal sign to a restaurant in the heart of London - Wine the Noodles; still driven by the same obsession with warmth, and the flavours of home. Every dish carries memories of Taiwan’s night markets, family meals, and the deeply comforting spirit of Taiwanese cooking.
Alongside the food, Eric Li from Hong Kong brings a wine journey shaped by curiosity, travel, and craft. Leaving behind a career in finance to pursue wine full-time, he trained at Noble Rot and now works as sommelier at 67 Pall Mall. Through harvests, cellar work, and time spent alongside growers, he is always searching for wines that speak of place, culture, and people, bottles with soul and story.
Together, the evening brings these two worlds to one table: heartyTaiwanese dishes with lifted, thoughtful wines in a relaxed family-style setting.
Expect shared plates, flowing bottles, new conversations, and a warm summer night built around community.
