RUM CLUB VOL:12 - NEW CANADIAN RUMS!
For Rum Club Vol. 12, we’re focusing on something we don’t often get to say here, what’s new and finally landing in Canada.
We’re highlighting two major arrivals that have long been staples in the U.S. and Europe but are now making their way into our market. First, from Hampden Estate Distillery in Jamaica, we’ll be pouring Rum Fire, one of the most iconic high-ester rums in the world. Alongside it, we’ll be diving into five expressions from Alambique Serrano, a producer redefining what Mexican rum can be.
For Karl and I, this one is about showcasing a shift, Canada is starting to gain access to rums that were once nearly impossible to find here. This session is about understanding why that matters, what makes these producers special, and how these styles expand what rum can be behind the bar and in the glass.
