The RTC Conference at Illinois Tech – October 8 - 9 - is a venue for connecting the future to today in real-time where thought leaders from industry and academia gather to discuss, debate and shape the future of the rapidly changing real-time communications field. The RTC Conference and Expo at Illinois Tech is an International Conference of the IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organization for the advancement of technology. This brings the conference an especially wide audience of technical professionals who are eager to contribute and to learn from the talks and demonstrations that will be presented, ensuring It will serve as an outstanding platform for knowledge exchange, networking opportunities, and exploring the latest advancements in real-time communications.
Conference presentations will explore the leading technical and industrial edge of how we think about, create, and implement real-time communications networks, services and applications. Presentations will be placed into the following conference tracks:
· WebRTC & Real-Time Applications
· Internet of Things
· Programmable Real-Time Networks
· Next Generation Emergency Communications
· VoiceTech
· Research Track (Juried Papers)
· HackRTC (hackathon weekend prior to main conference)
As part of this year’s conference, we’re excited to be offering a separate free registration for HackRTC to be hosted at Kaplan Institute on IIT’s Mies Campus October 5 - 6, the weekend prior to the main conference. HackRTC is a weekend-long hackathon where hackers compete for prize money by creating real-time communications-enabled hacks (prototype applications) utilizing software resources supplied by the HackRTC sponsors. We’re eager to see what hackers will create as they mash up programmable telecoms with many other services available over the web to solve problems across all aspects of people’s lives!
