The Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) now offers continuing professional development (CPD) Type 2 training sessions that property managers and agents can attend to meet their mandatory CPD requirements.
Communication and resolving disputes in a tenancy – CPD Type 2 session (OFT CODE: QLD CPD 20250168)
This 2.5 hour face-to-face session explores the communication approaches and dispute resolution strategies that help property managers and agents manage tenancy issues more effectively.
During this session, you will gain an understanding of:
- effective communication and self-resolution skills
- the tenancy lifecycle and where disputes may occur
- tips and strategies to resolve disputes
- the difference between an RTA dispute and a BCCM dispute
- RTA’s free dispute resolution service
- the QCAT process.
You will have the opportunity to participate in case study discussions within the group and ask our expert team questions about Queensland tenancy law.
After the session, you will walk away with practical information to support effective communication and dispute management in your daily practices.
Registration is essential for this session and spots are limited.

Multiple sessions are available – as the content is the same for all sessions, please register for one session only. This is also an individual ticketed event; unfortunately, walk-ins cannot be accepted on the day.
