Travel halfway around the world and experience the wonders of Thailand as we invite you to a special evening on Thai soil. On Friday, November 22 the Embassy of Thailand will be opening its doors exclusively to our members to interact with embassy diplomats, experience Thai culture, and to take part in a very popular Thai tradition – KARAOKE!
PROGRAM:
1) DIPLOMATIC WELCOME FROM THE NEW AMBASSADOR
Meet HE Dr, Suriya Chindawongse, Thailand’s Ambassador, and the diplomatic staff of the Embassy who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
2) THAILAND TOURISM AND CULTURAL FILM
A film highlighting the beauty and culture of Thailand will be featured right after the Ambassador’s welcoming remarks.
3) THAI FOOD
Discover, experience, and enjoy our country’s rich culinary heritage with various Thai dishes!
4) OPEN BAR:
Enjoy wine, beer (including Thai beer) and nonalcoholic beverages.
5) KARAOKE PARTY:
When people finish their work days in Thailand, there is no better place to unwind than in a karaoke bar! Tonight, we invite you to relax, leave your inhibitions behind, and break out and sing your favorite karaoke songs! No pressure (it is just as fun to watch), but we hope everyone takes part in grabbing the microphone and singing your favorite karaoke songs!
