Rower to nie tylko środek transportu – to styl życia. Dla Rafała to opowieść o ruchu, wolności i niezależności. To wszystko artysta próbuje uchwycić w obrazach, zadając sobie pytanie: jak namalować to, co ulotne i dynamiczne?
Zapraszamy na autorską wystawę jednego z najciekawszych śląskich malarzy średniego pokolenia. Cykl obrazów „ROWER” to opowieść o przemieszczaniu się – fizycznym, emocjonalnym i duchowym. Rower staje się symbolem życia w ruchu, podróży w głąb siebie, a czasem też ucieczki. Inspiracje czerpane z historii sztuki – od jaskiń Lascaux po plakaty Lautreca – splatają się tu z osobistą opowieścią twórcy, który sam bardzo często wskakuje na dwa kółka.

The first painting featuring a bicycle was created just for himself. The next one—for an art auction. The third—on commission. And so began a new painting cycle by Rafał Kapica, giving rise to an exhibition that will soon be on view at SQ ART Gallery in Bytom.
A bicycle is more than just a means of transportation—it’s a way of life. For Rafał, it’s a story about movement, freedom, and independence. This is what the artist seeks to capture in his paintings, constantly asking himself: how do you paint something so fleeting and dynamic?
We invite you to the solo exhibition of one of the most intriguing mid-generation painters from Silesia. The painting cycle “BICYCLE” is a narrative about movement—physical, emotional, and spiritual. The bicycle becomes a symbol of life in motion, a journey inward, and at times, a form of escape. Inspirations drawn from art history—from the Lascaux cave paintings to Lautrec’s posters—intertwine with the personal story of the artist, who himself often jumps on two wheels.
