Come sing this spring in Tulsa, a city that takes its Route 66 history so seriously we are officially trademarked as "The Capital of Route 66.™ We'll have 2 days of singing from the 2025 revision on Saturday (5/30) and Sunday (5/31), including an introductory workshop at 10 am on Saturday. No musical experience needed! The Mother Road is turning 100 in 2026, and Tulsa is the epicenter of her centennial celebrations. Seriously! Much fanfare will surround 2 days of singing, including an attempt at The World's Largest Classic Car Parade.
If you enjoy highway history, Woody Guthrie, Hanson, indigenous and Western Art, fiberglass sculptures with mid-century Muffler Men vibes (of which we have many b/c "Capital of Route 66™), vast expanses of tallgrass prairie, S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders, or just want to support a new singing community, come on down to T-Town at the end of May. You may never make it to heaven, but you'll at least have been to Oklahoma.
